@Keith: a new “Edit your user”-widget has been added to the standard sidebar, just above your login box. Until we can safely change the login widget without ruining our own WordPress upgrade path, that’ll have to do. :)

could we move the login box to the top menu instead of having it in the lower right?

also perhaps place the display-hack logo left of the menu instead of above (that’ll minimize the space wasted on the screen)

@rasmus: we added a login-option in the main menu on top, as well as squeezed the CSS a bit to bring the whole page up higher (for lower resolution screens).

@bent: nice – it improved a bit :-)

I still find it confusing that my profile links are placed in the lower right corner of the screen (rather than in the top menu – next to the new login-link :)

@rasmus: it’s related to some limitations (or rather: massive changes-needed) in WordPress, but hopefully this change will make it more visible to people. Once bbPress goes final, we’ll be able to manage all of those things in one single place.
